CoopeTarrazu, founded in 1960, is a cooperative that works with various communities throughout the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica. In addition to offering market access, resources, and fair prices to growers, the cooperative also has an experimental farm on which different varieties, milling processes, drying techniques, and inputs and pesticides are tested. The farm, called Finca Las Cuadras, is managed by members for the benefit of the entire Terrazu community.
