João and his partners at FAF are innovators. A few of their crazy ideas include measuring brix on the cherries before harvesting, picking at nighttime, building raised beds, drying in the shade and fermenting.
João keeps the team passionate and caffeinated. Coffee at Sitio Canaã is served by the liter, even if it is for one. As our dear friend Felipe at FAF Coffee tells us, 2008, they almost abandoned coffee in 2008 and now sell to some of the best roasters around the world. Now they are producing exemplary coffee and making a difference in their community.
