Don Pedro is determined and passionate about his coffee. A few years ago he came to the door of the CAFEÓLOGO roastery and said, “I have good coffee.” He was being modest. His coffee has won awards for scoring above 90 points. Don Pedro and his family have developed a lasting relationship with CAFEÓLOGO. His wife, Doña Leticia, their sons and daughters all share in the work each harvest. Their award-winning coffees reflect their passion. Don Pedro Gómez is quite a character. His friends call him Tatic Pedro, signifying a male authority figure in the indigenous Mayan community of the Altos de Chiapas.
